Preservation in a Changing Climate
September 18 All day
Join us for the fourth annual Preservation in a Changing Climate Conference, hosted by the City of Salem and Salem Preservation Partners. This year, we delve into practical mitigation and adaptation strategies to protect our region’s historic buildings, landscapes, and neighborhoods from climate impacts. The conference features a keynote by Massachusetts State Climate Chief Melissa Hoffer, engaging case studies, panel discussions, and special tours on the preceding day, September 17th. Lunch will be provided by PEM, and the day will conclude with closing remarks from National Park Service Superintendent Jennifer Hardin. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to the preservation of our cherished historical resources in the face of climate change.
