Bitter Sweet Removal – Winter Island

Join us for our 6th Annual Bittersweet Battle at Winter Island Park! This annual volunteer event focuses on removing Oriental Bittersweet, an aggressive invasive vine that can overtakes trees, shrubs, and native habitats.

Bittersweet removal is tough but critical work, requiring long-term management to protect Winter Island’s ecosystem and prevent further spread. Your help makes a real difference in restoring native habitat and improving the health of our coastal landscape
