Sophia is a current student at Salem Academy Charter School with a passion for art and graphic design, programming, and working with immigrant communities. Starting with SSCW in June 2023, Sophia has taken on such projects as helping plan and paint public murals at schools in collaboration with LEAP for Education‘s programs in Salem and Lynn and at the South Essex Sewerage District building, designing graphics for promotional buttons and t-shirts for SSCW, and creating art for the pollinator garden sign at our office. She also has worked translating documents relating to the installation of cigarette butt bins into her native Russian.
