Webinar: Winter Island Park Bank Restoration Project

Join Salem Sound Coastwatch and the City of Salem virtually to learn how The Winter Island Park Pathway and Bank Restoration Project has progressed. This project aims to address the severe and ongoing issue of erosion of its pathways and coastal banks, along the parking lot, headland/southern shore, and Waikiki Beach. You’ll hear from Wilkinson Ecological Design on the selection of nature-based solutions designed to stabilize the eroding shorelines, as well as the Public Archaeological Laboratory (PAL) on the historic assets we’re preserving in the process.
