Volunteers Needed: Salem Sound Coastwatch’s Winter Waterbird Survey
Join Salem Sound Coastwatch for our Winter Waterbird Survey to help us monitor waterbird populations along the North Shore!
📅 Survey Period: Sunday December 7th, 8:30am
📍 Locations: Multiple sites across Salem, Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Manchester, Swampscott, and Lynn
📝 Data Collection: Recorded on eBird
We’re looking for volunteers to help survey Salem Sound, counting winter waterbirds to help us track population trends over time. New and experienced birders are welcome!
Registration is required! To sign up, please contact Anna Sheridan through email at anna.sheridan@salemsound.org. The recording of SSCW’s eBird Training and signup sheet will then be sent to you to learn your preferred location. All data will be recorded on the eBird app and shared with Salem Sound Coastwatch.
RSVP is required by December 4th to participate.
