Join Salem Sound Coastwatch for a public COASTSWEEP at Gillis Park in Beverly!
Every year from August to November volunteers in Massachusetts participate in a statewide beach cleanup sponsored by the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZSM). COASTSWEEP is an international effort, where volunteers around the world collect marine debris found along our coasts, categorize, and tally the information. Information helps us discover the sources of marine debris and help find solutions to the problem.
