Join us for our 6th Annual Super Bowl Sunday Bittersweet Battle at Winter Island Park! This annual volunteer event focuses on removing Oriental Bittersweet, an aggressive invasive vine that can overtakes trees, shrubs, and native habitats.
Bittersweet removal is tough but critical work, requiring long-term management to protect Winter Island’s ecosystem and prevent further spread. Your help makes a real difference in restoring native habitat and improving the health of our coastal landscapes!
📍Meet inside the park entrance near the gatehouse.
🧤 Tools and gloves will be provided.
