DESCRIPTION:Join Salem Sound Coastwatch and Filmmaker Perry Hallinan for the premier showing of the Commercial Street Rain Garden videos! These two short videos highlight the polluted history of the North River\, as well as how the rain gardens help to clean stormwater that enters the river. You’ll watch interviews with community members and get a glimpse into the design and construction of these rain gardens. \n\n\n\nChoose between two showings in Salem on Thursday\, June 27th: \n\n\n\n4:00pm — Salem Sound Coastwatch’s Office\, 12 Federal Street \n\n\n\n7:00pm — Columbus Society Lounge\, 18 Commercial Street (cash bar) \n\n\n\nThe rain gardens and these videos were funded by a Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management Coastal Habitat and Water Quality Grant.
