2009 Danvers Harbormaster got its first ever Pump-out Boat. With financial
assistance from the Division of Marine Fisheries and the Clean Vessel
Act, the Town of Danvers and the Danversport Yacht Club have partnered
to make getting one's boat head pumped out convenient and free. Read

people joined SSCW to see the movie, A Sea Change, and learn about ocean
acidification. The Film will be shown again on April 28,
2010 at the Abbott Library, Marblehead.
Last
June, the St Joseph Middle School joined SSCW in its battle to control
the invasive pepperweed by removing pepperweed
from the Salem Maritime NPS on Derby Wharf and at the beach. Also, employees
of Timberland helped us remove pepperweed from Forest River Park.
