Furlong Park is a community park in Salem along the North River. The North River is a tidal river so timing here is everything. There are no restrooms or other facilities at this beach.

Furlong Park Stairs down to the water

Concrete steps down to the North River have recently been installed at Furlong Park for small boat launching. However, the North River becomes a very large mudflat at low tide. You will need to carry your boat across the park from Franklin Street to the river.
