Gas House Beach Point

Gas House Beach is a small community beach located on Little Harbor in one of the oldest sections of the Marblehead waterfront. It is located on Gashouse Lane, off Orne Street. There are no restrooms or other facilities.

 

Gas House Beach Road

This is a view down Gashouse Lane, toward the beach. No parking is allowed on Gashouse Lane and no vehicles should be left unattended to load and unload. There may be some on-street parking within walking distance.

 

Gas House Beach View to Gerry's Island

Gas House Beach provides great views of Gerry Island as seen in the photo above. At high tide, paddlers can paddle around Gerry Island, which is privately owned. A cobble strip that connects the island to the beach is exposed at low tide.
