Manchester-by-the-Sea's Town Hall (the Police Station is in the lower floor) is in the center of Manchester at 10 Central Street (Route 127). There is large multi-purpose parking lot behind the Town Hall, but it does have parking restrictions.

Manchester Boat Ramp

Residents can obtain a permit from the town to store kayaks next to the ramp.

Manchester Boat Ramp

The boat ramp provides an easy entrance to the water, but you will have to paddle under the MBTA commuter rail bridge and through the harbor to get to open water.

Ramp from the waterside

Use caution when accessing the ramp at low tide.

Trails for Manchester Harbor are the same as those listed for Masconomo Park. Tucks Point is on the right as you paddle out of the harbor. Look for the red-roofed, white-columned rotunda. There is only resident parking at Tucks Point but there is a sandy beach for a stop-over.

For tidal information, consult The North Shore Tide Charts.

The above map provides suggestions for possible routes but is not a navigational map. Please refer to a nautical chart particularly if you are not familiar with the area and always be aware of weather conditions, boat traffic and other safety precautions while out on the water.
