Lynn Shore and Nahant Beach Reservation provides public access to over four miles of expansive seascape and four beaches: Kings Beach and Lynn Beach in Lynn and Nahant Beach and Long Beach in Nahant. All are owned and

managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). Click here for a map of the reservation. The DCR park headquarters is at the Ward Bathhouse, just off the Nahant Rotary. The Ward Bathhouse houses the visitor center, showers, and sanitary facilities available free of charge. There is also a public boat ramp just past O'Connor Athletic Field on the right, which provides access to Lynn Harbor and Broad Sound, and a parking lot with a capacity of 70 vehicles with trailers. Halfway House, in the middle of Nahant Beach, has handicap accessible restrooms.

There is a mile-long system of fragile sand dunes parallel to Nahant Beach, on the north side of the Nahant Causeway and boardwalks through the dunes down to the water. A parking lot with a capacity of 1,300 vehicles is available at Nahant Beach for which a fee is collected from May through September. Ample on-street parking along Lynn Shore Drive is available for visitors to King's Beach and Red Rock Park. There is no public toilet facility for the beaches along Lynn Shore Drive.
