Clean Salem, Green Salem and Living Green Fair
Salem Sound Coastwatch and its volunteers will be cleaning up Salem and SSCW will have a display on the Salem Common Saturday, May 5th. We will also be at the Living Green Fair on May 19th. For more info, check out our calendar.

Free Workshop on Marine Invasive Species
Bio-invaders. They're not from outer space. But they are from other parts of the globe and they can harm our marine eco-system.
Salem Sound is home to many marine bio-invaders. They're found in tidepools, along the rocky shoreline, and on floating docks.
Adienne Pappal, MA CZM Aquatic Invasive Species Program Coordinator, will share the results from our monitoring under the Marine Invader Monitoring and Information Collaborative. Also explore the Winter Island tidepool with SSCW and learn how you can volunteer this summer. Directions and more info on our calendar.

Adopt a Beach TRAINING

JOIN an Adopt a Beach TEAM to clean up our coastline at your favorite beach.
This training session will give you everything you need to get started. Please let us know what beach you would like to adopt by emailing info@salemsound.org or calling 978-741-7900. Don't know which beach, come and learn about the existing beach teams. Program Description (62 KB PDF)
